Gameday Post #10: Baltimore Orioles at Yankees, Part Deux
OK, let’s try this again.
The Yankees looked overmatched on Sunday night as Josh Beckett dominated the Yankees through 8 innings en route to a 4-0 win. CC Sabathia labored again through 5 2/3 IP but allowed just one run in taking his first loss of the season. The offense was horrible, mustering only singles from Robinson Cano and Eric Chavez.
After last night’s rain-out (the 2nd in 3 home games), A.J. Burnett will take the hill against Baltimore’s Chris Tillman.

PITCHING PREVIEW (from MLB.com)
Chris Tillman (BAL) — Tillman is coming off an uneven outing in which he allowed four earned runs to Detroit in Saturday’s no-decision. The 22-year-old tossed a 32-pitch first inning and was doomed by a high pitch count, exiting after allowing six hits over 4 2/3 frames.
A.J. Burnett (NYY) — With Tuesday’s game postponed, Burnett’s start was pushed back a day. For the second time in three seasons with the Yankees, the righty has bagged wins in his first two starts.
Derek Jeter: 0-4, K — 67 hits from 3,000
Mariano Rivera: DNP — 37 saves from 600, 39 saves from all-time record
